Baffles Cored
July 2009, my brother and I decided the drilling on the baffles wasn’t enough. So we broke out the hole saw, drill and put the bike up on a lift. We proceeded to drill out one baffle completely, and burned up his electric drill. At that point, we pulled the slip-on off, loaded up the hole saw in the drill press and went to work.
To say the least, the bike is “rude” and sounds actually really good. I lost just a touch on the low end, and someone who has never ridden the bike before would never notice. I have not had any issues with overheating or other items yet. I drove it hard all last summer after, including some 200-300 mile trips without a hiccup.
